I was approached to build a box for a singing bowl. A vision came to me — a meditating figure under a tree, an Om symbol, Tibetan script, a compass to find your way, a dragon for strength.
This box is made from walnut and maple, joined with hand-cut finger joints. Every symbol was hand-burned and filled with colored resin — one at a time, by hand.
